How It All Began

Aidventures was born from a dua, not a business plan.

For years, I dreamt of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro under a full moon, fundraising for a cause close to my heart. I searched everywhere for a charity challenge that aligned with the right date and the right cause, but nothing quite fit.

So on my first Umrah I made a dua at the Kaaba: “Ya Allah, let me climb Kilimanjaro under the full moon.”

Years later, while working in the charity crowdfunding space at LaunchGood, I crossed paths with Action For Humanity - and there it was.
A Kilimanjaro climb. Summit day on the full moon. Fundraising for Gaza. My dua had found its path.

But that’s when I realised something…
