We’re aiming to head back by 9:00 PM, but please note that this time may vary slightly depending on traffic conditions — it could be a bit earlier or later. We’ll keep everyone updated throughout the day.
What is the fundraising cause?
All funds raised will go towards supporting livelihood projects in Bangladesh, providing individuals with opportunities to generate sustainable income through initiatives such as food carts, shop stalls, and other small businesses.
Empowering people with a means to earn a living is a profound act of charity. By supporting this cause, you will help families achieve financial independence and stability, creating lasting impact and ongoing benefit for the community.
In Islam, supporting someone’s self-sufficiency and livelihood is highly rewarded. Your contribution can serve as continuous charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), bringing ongoing reward as those you help thrive and support themselves.
What happens if I don’t hit my fundraising target?
We’re here to support you throughout your fundraising journey, and most participants reach their goal with time to spare. However, please note that a minimum of 80% of the fundraising target must be raised before the event date. If this minimum isn’t met, you may be excluded from taking part, or, if you prefer, you can personally cover the remaining amount to secure your place. We’ll do our best to help you get there!
