Join TeamMC on a powerful four-day hiking and cultural journey through Bosnia and Herzegovina - a country shaped by natural beauty, deep faith, and remarkable resilience.
This immersive experience combines mountain hiking in the Prenj Mountains, cultural encounters in rural villages, and meaningful reflection, all while raising vital funds for Muslim Charity’s Children of the World campaign.
This is a shared journey of challenge, connection, and purpose.
Why This Challenge?
Bosnia offers a rare combination of dramatic landscapes, living history, and warm hospitality. Over four days, participants will:
Hike remote mountain trails within the Dinaric Alps
Experience village life and traditional Bosnian food
Travel by jeep and on foot through rugged terrain
Build lasting bonds with fellow participants
Transform personal challenge into tangible impact for vulnerable children worldwide
The Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival & Orientation
Arrive at Sarajevo and transfer to Konjic.
After check-in and rest, participants have the option to take part in activities at the on-site adventure park (participation optional).
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 – Prenj Mountains Hike
After breakfast, spend the day hiking in the Prenj Mountains, a rugged and less-frequented part of the Dinaric Alps.
A packed lunch is provided during the hike.
Return to accommodation by early evening, followed by a campfire gathering and dinner.
Day 3 – Lukomir Village & Via Ferrata (Optional)
After breakfast, transfer by jeep to Lukomir village, followed by a guided hike in the surrounding area.
Lunch will consist of traditional village food prepared locally.
If time and conditions allow, participants may take part in a Via Ferrata climb before returning to accommodation for dinner.
Day 4 – Departure
After breakfast, transfer back to Sarajevo.
