Description

Climb Mount Mulhacén (3,479 m) | 7-Day Heritage & Mountain Expedition

Embark on an unforgettable journey with Muslim Hikers as we explore the rich islamic legacy of Andalusia, from the grand mosques of Córdoba and Granada to the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada. Our adventure culminates with a winter summit of Mount Mulhacen, the highest mountain in mainland Spain.

This is more than a trek, it's a cultural, spiritual and physical journey through the story of Al-Andalus. Hike through ancient villages, learn about the heritage of the Moriscos, and challenge yourseif on the legendary trails of the Alpujarra.

All are welcome regardless of religious background, ability, or experience. The treks are graded moderate to challenging, with multi-day hiking and a high-altitude winter ascent. No technical mountaineering experience is required; all essential winter equipment (crampons, snowshoes, etc.) will be provided on the ground.
