Application Process

1) Apply

Complete your initial interest by completing the application form to join the list of potential candidates and go through to vetting.

2) Vetting

All applications will go through a thorough vetting process to ensure candidates meet the required criteria. Following this, shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview. Based on the interviews, the most suitable candidates will be selected for the deployment, according to the desired number of available positions.

3) Registration

The selected participants will then need to complete the Malawi deployment 2026 registration form and a fundraiisng page will be created.

4) Fundraise

As a selected fundraiser, you will get through to the deployment and join Zaynah and your fellow Malawi 2026 team!

Note: Charity Right reserves the right to remove or terminate the reservation of any individual who fails to meet the fundraising targets or terms and conditions.

The registration fee and all fundraising amounts are non-refundable.
Missing any fundraising target may result in forfeiting your place.
There are multiple factors considered throughout this process, such as interviews with our team and your fundraising progress.

Transport Information

Charity Right will take care of the logistics – this includes hotels, flights from London Heathrow airport and local transport in Malawi. We want you to focus on embracing every moment of this life-changing experience with Zaynah inshaAllah.

We simply ask that you make your own travel arrangements to and from the UK airport, and leave the rest to us.

1. How old do you have to be to take part?
You must be at least 16 years old to take part, if you are aged under 18 years old, you must be accompanied by an adult, who will also need to fulfill both fundraising and registration fee obligations

2. When is the deployment?
This will be beginning of October to early November 2026. Exact dates will be confirmed in the coming months.

3. What city will we be using to fly out from?
London.

4. What is the registration fee and fundraising target?

£1,000 registration fee and £4,000 fundraising target

5. Is there a deadline for the deployment?
Yes. We require all participants to ensure they meet 80% of the fundraising target by 31st July 2026. We reserve the right to deny participation to anyone failing to meet these deadlines.

6. How is my fundraising being used?
Your £1,000 registration fee is used to contribute towards the cost of the deployment, which covers flights, accommodation, food and transport. Charity Right supplements the rest of the cost. Your £4,000 fundraising amount is used to provide school meals to children in Malawi.
