Our volunteers are ordinary people with extraordinary hearts — people who believe in helping others with compassion, respect, and without ever compromising someone’s dignity. If that sounds like you, then joining a WCF deployment could be one of the most meaningful experiences of your life.
By volunteering abroad with us, you’ll step into communities that have lived through conflict, displacement, and hardship. You’ll learn about different cultures, histories, and traditions, while seeing firsthand the resilience, strength, and humanity of those facing crisis. You’ll witness the impact of your support directly — from delivering essential aid to sharing moments of hope with families who rely on this assistance. And along the way, you’ll form strong bonds with fellow volunteers, many of whom become lifelong friends united by the same purpose.
Where We Deploy
WCF charity trips currently operate in Jordan, Syria, Gambia, and Lebanon — regions where our team works year-round to support orphans, widows, refugees, and vulnerable families. Each location offers a unique experience and insight into the realities of humanitarian work, allowing you to contribute where the need is greatest.
With 2026 set to be our busiest year ever, there will be a wide range of deployments throughout the year — including Ramadan, winter, emergency, and general humanitarian trips — giving you plenty of opportunities to find a trip that suits your availability and interest.
No Experience Necessary
You don’t need any previous volunteering or humanitarian background to join. Every deployment is guided by experienced field leaders and humanitarian workers who have spent years coordinating aid distributions, supporting local communities, and managing complex situations on the ground. They will train, support, and guide you every step of the way.
All you need is compassion, willingness to serve, and a positive can-do attitude. If you bring the heart, we’ll help you with everything else.
Volunteer overseas through WCF's Volunteer Abroad Program
Seeking purpose through service? Do you want to do something to help people in need, but aren’t sure where to start? World Care Foundation (WCF) will put you at the heart of where you can make a lasting difference.
Through charity trips, we deploy volunteers to countries where people are in desperate need of assistance. WCF volunteers support refugees and other vulnerable people, by taking part in our aid work and development projects. These include:
Distributions in refugee camps.
Support visits to vulnerable families.
Repairing and/or relocating refugee homes.
Hands-on activities to help refugees.
Social and moral support for orphans and refugee children through fun activities.
Groups: Sisters & Families, Brothers and youth groups
THERE ARE NO FUNDRAISING TARGETS
We just want you to pledge to help humanity, do your best, and sign up!
The volunteer is responsible for covering the cost of their own flights/hotel & transport. This is included in the total deployment total fee, which, as we mentioned previously, is handled on a 100% non-profit basis to cover all the essential travel and logistical arrangements for your trip.
You can leave all of the logistical arrangements to us. To make the process as smooth and straightforward as possible for our volunteers, World Care Foundation takes care of everything—from booking your flights and accommodation to arranging all your transport on the ground, Insha'Allah.
Please be assured that this is handled on a 100% non-profit basis. Every penny of the deployment cost goes directly towards covering these essential bookings for your trip.
However if you would like to arrange your own flights, please notify the staff member dealing with you!
Whether you will need a visa really depends on the passport you hold and our specific destination country, as the requirements are different for everyone.
However, please don't worry, as you won't have to figure this out on your own. As you go through the application process, we will provide you with clear information and guide you through any necessary steps, Insha'Allah.
All our volunteers are required to arrange their own travel insurance for the trip. This is a mandatory step we ask for, primarily for your own safety and peace of mind, to ensure you are fully protected while you are away.
The cost for standard cover is usually quite reasonable, typically falling between £15 to £30. We will provide more specific guidance on this during the booking process to make sure you know exactly what is needed.
